黄庭坚词在其身后评价反差较大，越到后面，评价越低。影响其同评价的主要因素是俗词。黄庭坚所处的北宋时期，俗词创作具有一定的普遍性和社会接受度，但随着词体的快速雅化，俗词越来越为词学批评界所不容。黄庭坚俗词在情感与词语两方面均有悖于雅正的审美标准，遭受的批评与指责也就越来越多。词学批评者的文人化立场，是导致黄庭坚俗词评价危机的本质原因。

There existed a big difference between the comments of Huang Tingjian＇ s （黄庭坚） Ci-poems by his contemporaries and those in later ages. With the passage of time, his Ci-poems became more and more lowly-evaluated. The major factor affecting the evaluation of his Ci-poems was his folk-style Ci-poems. Huang Tingjian lived in the Northern Song Dynasty, during which the writing of folk-style Ci-poems was commonly seen and well-accepted. However, with the rapid refinement of Ci-poem writing, his folk-style Ci-poems became more and more unacceptable by the Ci-poem critics. Huang＇ s folk-style Ci-poems were against the refined aesthetic criteria of Ci-poetry in both emotional expression and word usage, which was the very reason why he received more and more criticism. As the Ci-poetic critics held a literatic stand, it caused a crisis in the evaluation of Huang Tingjian＇ s folk-style Ci-poems.
