根据对法律英语文本的类型化与规范化研究，法律英语文本应当分为规范性文本、描述性文本和混合型文本三类。规范性法律英语文本有六个特征。规范性法律英语文本兼具法律上和语域上的正式规范特征，在各种法律文本中最具代表性，也最能体现作为其载体的法律英语的语言特征。
根據對法律英語文本的類型化與規範化研究，法律英語文本應噹分為規範性文本、描述性文本和混閤型文本三類。規範性法律英語文本有六箇特徵。規範性法律英語文本兼具法律上和語域上的正式規範特徵，在各種法律文本中最具代錶性，也最能體現作為其載體的法律英語的語言特徵。
근거대법률영어문본적류형화여규범화연구，법률영어문본응당분위규범성문본、묘술성문본화혼합형문본삼류。규범성법률영어문본유륙개특정。규범성법률영어문본겸구법률상화어역상적정식규범특정，재각충법률문본중최구대표성，야최능체현작위기재체적법률영어적어언특정。
Based on the study of categorization and normalization of legal English texts, this paper categorizes legal English texts as three types： prescriptive legal text, descriptive legal text and hybrid legal text. Prescriptive legal text, with the most legal characteristics and formal register in linguistics, is typical of all categories of legal texts and bears the particular linguistic features of legal English which has been used as their written language.
