以我国创业板上市公司为研究样本，从风险投资特征角度对风险投资与公司创新之间的关系进行了实证研究。研究发现，是否拥有风险投资背景对公司创新具有显著影响。具体而言，风险投资持有期与公司创新存在显著正相关关系；风险投资退出时回报与公司未来创新之间存在显著正相关关系；风险投资持股减持与公司未来创新之间存在显著负相关关系。

Through an empirical study on the firms listed on GEM in China ,this article examines the relationship between venture capital investment and firms＇technological innovation in perspective of venture capital characteristics .we document that venture capital investment play a critical role in corporate innovation performance ,specially ,both duration and return of venture capital are positively related to corporate innovation performance w hile share reduction of venture capital is neg-atively connected to corporate innovation performance .our results are robust after a set of tests and also have their policy implications .
