虽然以往研究能解释汉语中旁格宾语的生成机制,但仍存在些许不足.语段理论能为旁格宾语的生成机制提供了一种新的解释：在旁格宾语结构中,动词的内论元为基础生成的空宾语e,旁格宾语实际上是介词脱落后的介词词组右附加到VP.由于e 不具有语音特征,不会被拼读出来.因此在语音系统拼读后,最终得到旁格宾语出现在动词之后.
雖然以往研究能解釋漢語中徬格賓語的生成機製,但仍存在些許不足.語段理論能為徬格賓語的生成機製提供瞭一種新的解釋：在徬格賓語結構中,動詞的內論元為基礎生成的空賓語e,徬格賓語實際上是介詞脫落後的介詞詞組右附加到VP.由于e 不具有語音特徵,不會被拼讀齣來.因此在語音繫統拼讀後,最終得到徬格賓語齣現在動詞之後.

Previous studies can explain the derivation of oblique object in mandarin Chinese to a certain extent,however, they have their own limits. Based on Phase Theory, this paper proposes a new analysis in which the internalargument of the verb is treated as base-generated empty category and the oblique object which is a Preposition Phrasewith the preposition being deleted right adjoins to VP. Since the base-generated empty category has no phonetic features,it will not be spelled out in the phonetic system. As a result, the oblique object occurs directly after the verb in surfacestructure after Spell-Out.
