评价必然会产生多方面的后果。后果效度应当是评价的一个重要质量标准。尽管在传统的效度理论中后果效度并不是一个主流的效度概念,但对于以促进学生学习为目标指向的课堂评价,后果效度应当是关键的质量指标。课堂评价的后果效度要关注对学生学习的引导,关注评价对教学决策的支持,更要关注学生在评价过程中的学习。

Assessment could generate many consequences, and consequential validity is an important quality criterion of assessment. Although consequential validity is not the core concept in the domain of traditional theory of validity, this concept should be the key quality criterion of classroom assessment which focuses on how to improve students' learning. The consequential validity of classroom assessment should he focused on how to guide students' learning, how to support instructional decision making, and most importantly, need to focus on students' learning in the process of assessment.
