It's important to study on the mode and evaluation system and the cultivation of innovative talents for the engineering professional talent training. Taking Shaoguan university automation specialty as an example, the paper presents the talent training mode of requirements of the specialized technical personnel quality for modern enterprise. By setting the modular curriculum, it has explored the cultivation mode and evaluation of innovative talents for engineering major in local colleges and universities.
