本研究旨在构建以相倚性为核心的课堂即时形成性评估理论。基于我国高校6名大学英语教师共28课时自然状态下的课堂数据,本研究采用扎根理论和课堂话语分析相结合的研究方法,探究了课堂即时形成性评估中教师行为与学生表现、评估目标之间的内在相关性。研究表明,“建立连接”和“树立期待”是课堂即时形成性评估相倚性的两个核心过程,教师在评估目标和学生意外需求之间建立联系,并通过不断地提供支架性的评测,期待并预示学生的下一步表现,促使学生参与增加,体现即时形成性评估的形成性功能。

This research aims at building a contingency-centered theory for real-time formative assessment (FA) in foreign language classrooms. Based on 28-hour natural classroom data from six university EFL teachers, this paper explores the inner relatedness among teacher behavior, student performance and assessment goal in real-time FA, through a combined method of Grounded Theory and Classroom Discourse Analysis. The paper concludes that setting up connections and expectations are the two core processes of real-time FA contingency, in which the teacher establishes relevance between assessmem goal and students' need, and promotes students ' increased participation through engendering and expecting their further performance.
