汉代校猎赋展现了汉代校猎之制，而由于两汉礼制思想与政治状况的不同，汉赋中所见校猎之制的描写有所不同。如西汉侧重于优游娱乐、奢侈淫逸，东汉初期重视其儒家礼乐教化功用，至东汉中晚期，则回归其军事功能本身，内容与风格各有不同。而从总体来说，汉赋所展现的汉代军礼，具有雄豪、恣肆的特点。

Xiao Lie Fu （song of the hunting） reflects the Xiao Lie （hunting） system in the Han Dynasties. The description of the Xiao Lie system in Fu is of difference because of the variety of Confucian thoughts and political situations between the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Western Han Dynasty. The content and style of Fu differ accordingly, namely, Fu in the Western Han Dynasty focused on entertainment and luxury while Fu in the early Eastern Han Dynasty on political indoctrination, and in the middle-and-late Eastern Han Dynasty on military capabilities. By and large, the military etiquette reflected in Han Fu is of grandeur and self-indulgence.
