跨文化交际学自从1983年“跨入”中国大陆以来，大量文献可以说明国内研究状况可粗略划分为三个阶段：（1）1983—1994年为第一阶段，主要特点为引介美国跨文化交际学和零散研究；（2）1995-2002年为第二阶段，主要特点为中国跨文化交际学会成立，大陆学者个人研究论著相继问世，开始展开学术对话，“跨文化交际学”课程开始普及；（3）2003—2013年为第三阶段，主要特点为大量引进国外专著，本领域学术研讨会增多，学会会刊《跨文化交际研究》创刊，国内外同行学术对话愈加频繁，跨文化商务交际研究成果突出。鉴于以上分析，本文认为：中国跨文化交际研究已呈现出蓬勃发展的繁荣态势，步入可持续健康发展轨道。

Since the entry of Intercultural Communication Studies to the Chinese mainland in 1983, there have emerged a great number of articles and books in this field. A look at the literature may reveal the following three major phases：（1） the first phase （1983-1994） is characterized by the introduction of Intercultural Communication Studies in the US and some scattered individual discussions; （2） the second phase （1995-2002） is characterized by the founding of China Association for Intercultural Communication, the publication of monographs by researchers in the Chinese mainland, scholastic dialogues and the popularization of the course in Intercultural Communication; （3） the third phase （2003-2013） is characterized by the bulk introduction of foreign monographs, the increase of conferences and seminars in this field, the publication of Intercultural Communication Research by China Association for Intercultural Communication, more frequent academic dialogues between domestic and foreign scholars, and the outstanding achievements in the study of Intercultural Business Communication. All this indicates a vigorous and sustainable development of Intercultural Communication Studies in China.
