改革开放以来，中国的社会发展呈现出典型的阶段性特征，与之相契合，中国的国家构建研究也经历了个性鲜明的发展阶段，即在争鸣中初创、在探索中发展、在实践中深入三个阶段。反思30多年来中国国家构建研究的成果，方法论的确立仍然是关键。具体而言，我们需要从方法论的角度厘清三组关系，即中国国家构建研究的思想资源是西方的还是本土的，中国国家构建研究的立场是为学术的还是为政治的，中国国家构建过程中的国家与社会关系是和谐共生还是相互排斥。对上述问题的回答，既是中国国家构建研究不可回避的任务，也是中国政治学走向方法论自觉的必然要求。

After the Reform and Opening up, it was characterized by stage of China＇ s social development, which directly leading to the research of state construction in China divided into three distinctive stages, that is, the phase of founding in contention,the phase of advancement in exploration,and the phase of depth through practice. When we reflect the research results of state construction in China over the recent 30 years, the methodology is still the key. Specifically, we need to clarify the relationship between several groups from a methodological point of view, namely, whether the ideological resources of the research of state construction are from China or the West, whether the standpoint of research is academic or political, and whether the relationship between state and society in the process of China＇s state construction is in harmony or mutually exclusive. The answers to the above questions are not only the unavoidable task of research of state construction in China, both also an inevitable requirement to go to the methodological consciousness of political science in China.
