明治时期日本学者冈三庆著《冈氏之中国文典》早于马建忠《马氏文通》11年、广池千九郎《中国文典》18年问世，在汉语文言语法学史上的地位十分重要。它依据英国人日根尾《英文典》体系，从词法和句法两个角度研究汉语文言语法，以词类的语法层级、标记、意义、功能进行分类，还充分注意到汉语“跨类”功能，并通过汉英日比较寻求共性特征，把词类性质及句法关系放到极其重要的研究视点上来。又运用西方语法理论系统研究汉语文言语法，给广池《中国文典》等日本汉语文言语法研究以莫大启示，也对中国学者来裕恂的《汉文典》产生了不可忽视的影响。

Oka Sankei, the scholar of Meiji period of Japan, who wrote a Chinese grammar book Oka＇s Grammar Text in 1887, which was 11 years earlier than Ma Jianzhong＇s Mr Ma＇s Grammar Talk, 18 years earlier than Chikuro Hiroike＇s Grammar Text. It was very important in the research field of Chinese classical grammar history all over the world. According to the system of British Pinneo＇s Analytical Grammar of the English Language, it makes analysis of classical Chinese grammar in terms of morphology and syntax, classify them using word＇s grammar level, marks, meanings and functions; it puts much emphasis to the cross-section function of Chinese language , and compares English, Chinese and Japanese to find their common characteristics. It put the nature of words and relations of sentence to a very important place. It was the first in the history to use Western grammar system to analyze Chinese classical grammar. It provided inspiration to Chikuro＇s Grammar Text and other Japanese classical grammar researches and made great impact on Chinese scholar Lai Gu-xun, who wrote a book named Ancient Chinese Grammar Book.
