Various social relations between the speakers and hearers are represented by the hierarchical-honorific system in Korean. This paer analyzes the morphological devices representing the hierarchical-honorific system from the four aspects, viz, hierarchical-honorific system, hierarchical-honorific terms, pronouns correlated with different hierarchical-honorific terms as well as the controlling factors of the hierarchical-honorific system.
