The patent,which is one of the important literature resources,contains large amounts of information.This paper discusses the problem of how the integrated science and technology information institutions at the provincial level to realize the sustainable innovation ability of enterprise group its own through the patent information mining,directional transmission and explicit connection with enterprise＇s inherent technology base from three aspects of the important position of the patent information in the implementation of innovation-driven strategy,the functions of the patent information in competitive intelligence service,and the new paths for increasing the revenue of competitive intelligence service.
