全国抗战爆发前后，共产国际指导中国共产党建立抗日民族统一战线的策略经过了从以中共领导的苏维埃力量为核心到要求中共承认国民政府为全中国政府的发展过程，其基本点是建议中共作出一定的让步把国共合作的统一战线建立起来，在支持国民政府抗Ft的同时保持中共党和红军的独立性并不断发展壮大。全国抗战初期，共产国际出于对中共中央能否正确执行统一战线政策的疑虑而派王明回国参加领导抗战，但王明却再次教条化地执行共产国际指示。最后，以毛泽东为核心的中共中央采取的抗日民族统一战线策略得到共产国际的肯定和支持。

The CPC built the Anti-Japanese National United Front under the guide of Communist International, and the strategy went through the developing process from the Soviet power led by the CPC being the center to de- manding the CPC to accept the National Government as the national government. Its basic point was suggesting the CPC to give a certain concession to build the united front of Kuomintang-Communist Cooperation, and supporting the National Government to fight against Japanese, simultaneously maintaining the independence and continuous development and grandness of the CPC and the Red Army. In the beginning of the nationwide Anti-Japanese War, because of the doubt whether the Central Committee of the CPC could correctly carry out the United Front policy, Communist International appointed Wang Ming to return to participate in and lead the Anti-Japanese War, but he dogmatized to carry out the Communist International＇ s instruction again. Finally, the Central Committee with Mao Zedong as the core which took the strategy of Anti-Japanese National United Front gained the Communist Interna- tional＇ s assertion and support.
