对体育本质的认识应遵循将体育表象经过知性思维上升为抽象概念,再经过理性思维还原为具体概念的过程。体育是指向竞争和内在自由的促进类本质的身体活动。竞争是人的本性,体育是人竞争的创造物,指向竞争与内在自由是体育满足人的身体与精神需要。体育的教育价值在于促进类本质。学校体育实践应正确认识体育的价值在于“促进”而不是“生产”人的类本质,它对人的影响是潜移默化的;体质和健康的多因性提示体育与体质、体育与健康的关系应是“促进”或“增强”;应从学生兴趣出发,避免造成体育的“学业压力”。

To understand the nature of physical education should conform to one process, in which physical education rises from appearance to abstract concept through intellectual thinking, then is reduced to concrete concept through rational thinking. Physical education refers to physical activity of promoting the generic nature of competition and inner freedom. Competition is the nature of human beings. Physical education is human creation by competition. Pointing to competition and inner freedom is the satisfaction of people's physical and spiritual needs. The educational value of physical education is promoting the generic nature. School physical education practice should correctly understand the value of physical education, that is, "promoting" the generic nature of people instead of "producing". School physical education influences the students unconsciously. The multi factors of physical fitness and health point out that the relationships of physical education and physical fitness, physical education and health should be "promoting" or "enhancing". Students" interests should be as the foundation to avoid "academic stress" of physical education.
