“和谐世界”理论是在全球化发展和国际问题不断出现的情况下,中国以积极主动的姿态参与国际政治经济新秩序的建构,在全球治理实践过程中运用创新思维的结晶。该理论倡导和谐的安全观、发展观、文化观、治理观,并且与时俱进不断丰富,它是全球治理的中国理论,是中国传统文化的提炼,也是对西方全球治理理论的补充和改进。“和谐世界”理论有利于在国际关系民主化基础上建立公平、公正、合理的世界新秩序,建设一个符合世界各国人民根本利益的自由、公正、平等、包容的和谐世界。

The theory advocates harmonious concept of security, development, culture, and governance enriched the times. It is the Chinese theory of global governance, the refinement of traditional Chinese culture, and supplement and improvement of western theories of global governance. The theory is conducive to the establishment of reasonable new world order with fair and just based on the democratization of international relations. And it is also helpful to building harmonious world with freedom,justice,equality and tolerance to satisfy the fundamental interests of the peoples of the world.
