新文化运动激进派激烈反传统的态度受到学界广泛的讨论,或认为其有片面性之弊,或认为其并非全面否定传统文化。不可否认,这一群体对中国文化在总体上是倾向于否定的,但其否定的片面性选择并非随意而为,而是有理论依据的选择。因此,如果说他们的思想有片面性,那也是深刻的片面,历史的片面。
新文化運動激進派激烈反傳統的態度受到學界廣汎的討論,或認為其有片麵性之弊,或認為其併非全麵否定傳統文化。不可否認,這一群體對中國文化在總體上是傾嚮于否定的,但其否定的片麵性選擇併非隨意而為,而是有理論依據的選擇。因此,如果說他們的思想有片麵性,那也是深刻的片麵,歷史的片麵。

The Radicals appeared in The New Cultural Movement in China from 1915s to 1923s have caused extensive discussions among the academic circles due to their fierce anti-traditional attitude; some scholars hold that the radicals＇ tend to be one-sided, while other scholars argue that these radicals did not mean to launch a complete negation of the traditional culture. It goes without denying that the radicals as a whole were inclined to negate the Chinese culture, but it is also true that their negative one-sided selection was made on a theoretical rather than casual basis. In view of this, if the radicals＇ thought is regarded as being one-sided then it is also a kind of profound and historical one-sidedness.
