推进学校特色化建设是我国基础教育改革的必然选择。为学生的优势潜能和兴趣爱好的发展提供优质的教育资源，建立独特的管理模式和校园文化，是今后特色学校建设的两种基本类型。在保证学生适度全面协调发展的基础上，促进学生优势潜能及个性化兴趣、爱好的充分发展是学校特色化建设的宗旨。对此，顺应时代发展和教育改革的要求，政府应把工作重心适时转移到学校的特色化建设上；坚定地推进高考改革，打破制约学校特色化建设的瓶颈；遵循特色化建设的规律，持之以恒地推进学校特色化的长远发展。

Promoting the school characteristic construction is the inevitable choice for the compulsory education reform in China. There are two basic types for the future construction of characteristic schools： providing high quality educational resources for the development of students＂ potential advantages and hobbies, and establishing the unique management model and campus culture. The principle of characteristic school construction is to promote the full development of students＂ potential advantages and characteristic hobbies, on the basis of ensuring the students＇ moderate, comprehensive and coordinated development. Complying with the development of the times and the requirements of educational reform, the government should transfer the focus of work to the characteristic school construction. Also, the reform of college entrance examination should be firmly pushed forward, and the bottleneck which restricts the characteristic school construction should be broken. Following the regularity of characteristic construction, the long-term development of characteristic schools should be promoted in a persistent way.
