为了解东莞地区民营中小型企业对商务英语人才的需求,并根据需求进行专业建设,本文对东莞地区30家民营中小企业进行问卷调查,并访问了30家民营中小企业的招聘网页。结果显示用人单位除了要求商务英语人才有较强的英语听说写能力和外贸实务操作能力以外,还要求有一定的表达沟通能力、应变能力、抗压能力以及工作认真仔细、诚实守信与吃苦耐劳的精神。调查结果对东莞地区高职院校商务英语专业建设中的人才培养与课程体系构建具有指导意义。

In order to know Business English talent demand in Dongguan area and improve major construction based on the demand, a questionnaire survey was clone among 30 small and medium size enterprises. Besides, a research was conducted by logging on HR websites of another 30 small and medium size enterprises, getting the information of recruitment related to Business English majors. The results turned out that the enterprises require Business English majors should have great competence in English listening, speaking and writing and foreign trade practice. What＇s more, Business English majors should be able to work under pressure and be expressive, flexible, careful, honest and hard working. The results became directions to talent cultivation and curriculum system building of major construction in higher vocational colleges in Dongguan area.
