基于互联网技术的数字网络形成了新的社会组织形态——“数字共同体”。意味着“社会媒体”时代正式来临。这种社会结构、交往和信息传播方式变革给党建工作带来了三个方面的挑战：中国共产党与外部世界的互动导致的挑战、历史与现实交织的挑战和党群工作的新形态所带来的挑战。为此，必须创新党建工作。针对这三方面的挑战，要积极加强党建工作，以包容开放的心态看世界，加强党史研究宣传，在理论和手段上以创新促党建，并重视网络舆情，打造网络党建平台，开拓党建的网络平台，挖掘网络为党建工作提供的广阔空间，夯实党建工作新的时代和技术基础，为提高党的执政能力建设开拓新渠道。

Based on the internet technologies, digital network has formed a new social organization-digit community, which means that the era of social media is coming. The revolution in social structure, communication and information transmission has brought about three challenges： interaction between CPC and exterior society, the interweaving of history and reality, and the new forms in the relation- ship between the party members and the common people. Therefore, it is required to bring forth new ideas in the construction of the Party. To meet the three challenges, the CPC is obliged to strengthen its construction, look at the outside world with toleration and open mind, strengthen the study and propaganda of CPC~s history, make innovations in theory and measures to gear up party＇s construc- tion. There is a need for CPC to attend to network public opinions, create party＇s construction plat- form on the internet, develop internet platforms and excavate new wide space for the party＇s con- struction, rammer a solid foundation for the new technological era so as to open up new channels to enhance party＇s holding power capability.
