编印于1951年的武进《金氏支谱》,对缸行金氏＂西三房善公支＂后裔的世系,有较为细致的整理,虽然对程、金改姓过程略有漏失模糊之处,但总体上资料翔实,态度认真。《金氏支谱》的编印问世过程可以说明,新谱中尚有不能用旧谱、新旧谱、全新谱诸概念准确定义的一种新旧连贯类型。当时,有兴趣、有学识、有财力承担编修族谱之责的,主要是一部分根在农村的城市居民。
편인우1951년적무진《금씨지보》,대항행금씨＂서삼방선공지＂후예적세계,유교위세치적정리,수연대정、금개성과정략유루실모호지처,단총체상자료상실,태도인진。《금씨지보》적편인문세과정가이설명,신보중상유불능용구보、신구보、전신보제개념준학정의적일충신구련관류형。당시,유흥취、유학식、유재력승담편수족보지책적,주요시일부분근재농촌적성시거민。
Jin＇ s Branch Genealogy was published in 1951. It arranged the lineage of Ganghang Jin＇ s offspring carefully. Although there were some omission and ambiguity, it was detailed and serious on the whole. The compiling and publishing process of Jin＇ s Branch Genbealogy showed that there was a type of the old and the new coherence in the new genealogy. At that time, those who had interest, knowledge and economic power to bear the responsibility of editing the genealogy were mainly the city dwellers of rural origin.
