后现代主义是西方20世纪70年代以来兴起的一股文化思潮，其主要特征是反对任何统一化的企图，肯定事物的差异性和相对性。在文论领域，后现代主义主要表现为以文学的历史性、复杂性来质疑文学的普遍性和规定性，突破了过去一元论的文学观念。但是，后现代主义对文学本质的拒绝以及对文学传统的否定容易转化为文学领域的虚无主义和毫无原则的实用主义，这一倾向值得关注。

Postmodernism is an emerging cultural trends which appeared in the Western countries in the late 1970s ,whose main feature is to oppose any attempt to be unified and affirm the difference and relativity of things .In the field of literary theory , the main manifestation of postmodernism is to question the literature＇s universality and regularity by means of its historicity and complexity ,and breakthrough the past monistic literary concept .However ,its rejection of literature essence and negation of literary tradition can be easily transformed into Nihilism and unprincipled pragmatism in the field of literature ,which should be paid much attention .
