中国清真食品始于唐代,而清真食品的出现,不单是推动了唐朝都城饮食业的发展与繁荣,更为关键的是它构成了中国穆斯林特色文化的物质载体,因而是实现穆斯林与其他兄弟民族之间相互交往和增进相互了解的重要媒介.在唐代,穆斯林清真食品的内容比较丰富,从市民到贵族甚至皇室,他们的日常饮食几乎都已经离不开清真食品了,所以“肥羊美酝”便成为唐代长安民众十分渴望的生活标准.

China's halal food began to appear in the Tang dynasty, and the emergence of it, not only promoted the prosperity and development of catering industry of the capital city of the dynasty, even more crucially, it constituted the material carrier of Muslim featured culture of China. Thus, it became the key medium for the mutual eontaet and understanding between Han people and Muslims. In the Tang dynasty,the content of the Muslim halal food is rich in contents,From ordinary citizens to noble, and even the royal family, their daily diet almost cannot leave the halal food,So "fat sheep and tasty wines" was the living standard desired by people of Changan in the Tang dynasty.
