In order to solve the global climate change and scientific measurement of carbon sinks, to speed up the mining of forest carbon sequestration potential is imminent.The paper summarizes the forest carbon sink metering method in recent years and expounded their respective advantages and disadvantages. Measuring carbon sinks has been put forward the best option is to use volume source biomass method in Beijing which large scale, forest tree species is various types. It can make more accurate measurement results of forest carbon sinks if combined with mod- em remote sensing technology.
