霍耐特从物化批判的规范性基础入手,运用先验与经验相结合的方法,批判重构了卢卡奇物化概念。在霍耐特这里,物化是对人与人、人与对象、人与自身之间先行承认的遗忘。人与人之间的物化主要体现在工具理性行为和由世界观、意识形态偏见等导致的遗忘;人与对象之间的物化主要体现在从属于人与人之间的间接遗忘以及同一性思维导致的直接遗忘;人与自身之间的物化主要体现在,人或是主动地创造、或是被动地观察自己的情感、欲望、意愿等导致的遗忘。霍耐特对物化概念的多元重构为其规范性承认理论奠定了社会本体论基础,推进了法兰克福学派的社会批判理论。

Based on the critique of normatine basis,with the approach of priori and experience,Honneth reconstructed concept of reification from recognition theory.For Honneth,different forms of reification represent forgetting of the priority of recognition underpinning our relation to the world,to others,and ourselves.Intersubejective reification mainly reflects that instrumental rational behavior,world outlook,and the ideological bias will cause forgetting.Reification between people and objects mainly reflects that,on the one hand,it is the indirect forgetting attached to interpersonal reification;on the other hand,the identity thinking leads to direct forgetting;reification between people and themselves mainly reflects that,people's actively creating,or passively observing their feelings,desires,and intentions will lead to forgetting.Honneth's reconstruction of reification lays social ontology structure for his normative theory of recognition and promots the critical social theory of Frankfurt school.
