何休在《公羊解诂》中，借《春秋》史事，以公羊家的视域，阐发了其有关君主及君主政治的思想和理论。其君主论，以维护社会秩序和社会安定为核心，要求君主注重自身道德修养，以孝、廉、信表率天下；主张“大一统”的政治秩序，提倡重民用贤的德政；在君臣关系上强调“以道事君”，甚至提出君臣之间存在“朋友之道”；在君位传承上则坚持以嫡长继承制为正道。
何休在《公羊解詁》中，藉《春鞦》史事，以公羊傢的視域，闡髮瞭其有關君主及君主政治的思想和理論。其君主論，以維護社會秩序和社會安定為覈心，要求君主註重自身道德脩養，以孝、廉、信錶率天下；主張“大一統”的政治秩序，提倡重民用賢的德政；在君臣關繫上彊調“以道事君”，甚至提齣君臣之間存在“朋友之道”；在君位傳承上則堅持以嫡長繼承製為正道。
하휴재《공양해고》중，차《춘추》사사，이공양가적시역，천발료기유관군주급군주정치적사상화이론。기군주론，이유호사회질서화사회안정위핵심，요구군주주중자신도덕수양，이효、렴、신표솔천하；주장“대일통”적정치질서，제창중민용현적덕정；재군신관계상강조“이도사군”，심지제출군신지간존재“붕우지도”；재군위전승상칙견지이적장계승제위정도。
He Xiu presented his theory of monarchs and monarchy politics in Gongyang J iegu ,with the discussion of the historical records in The Spring and Autumn Annals ,and from the perspective of the Gongyang School.His theory focuses on the maintaining of social order and peace,urging monarchs to im-prove their own morality,and exhibit themselves as the models of filial piety,honesty,and credibility be-fore their people.His theory also advocates the political order of “Great Unity ”,and the “Benevolent Rul-ing ”,which is characterized by taking care of common people and appointing righteous men in government positions.On the issue of monarch-minister relationship,he holds the principle of “Serving the Monarch according to the Truth.”He even claims that there are genuine friendship between the monarch and his ministers.On the issue of throne succession,he respects the lineal primogeniture.
