清末,伴随报业的兴起,报载小说风起云涌。受报刊这种新媒介的制约与影响,小说叙事发生了一系列的新变。这种新变主要表现为,报载小说在不同程度上带有报纸的新闻特性,诸如小说叙事的时效性与纪实性、政论倾向、新异趣尚、地域意识等,因而与古代小说相比,报载小说呈现了一种崭新的时代艺术风貌。
清末,伴隨報業的興起,報載小說風起雲湧。受報刊這種新媒介的製約與影響,小說敘事髮生瞭一繫列的新變。這種新變主要錶現為,報載小說在不同程度上帶有報紙的新聞特性,諸如小說敘事的時效性與紀實性、政論傾嚮、新異趣尚、地域意識等,因而與古代小說相比,報載小說呈現瞭一種嶄新的時代藝術風貌。

In Late Qing Dynasty, along with the rise of newspaper industry, novels published in in- stallments are riotous. Limited and influenced by the this new type of medium, novel narration experi- ences some changes, which shows some news feature of the newspaper in a degree, such as the time- liness and documentary feature of novel narration, the political tendency, new and different fashion and regional consciousness. Compared with ancient novel, novels published in installments show a brand-new artistic style of the era.
