我国已进入城市时代,与城市迅速发展不相称的是,建设工程超期服役及管理落后引发的城市安全问题日益显现。为此,在建设工程合理使用年限到期前,发挥城建档案对其寿命的预警作用,维护城市公共安全,显得尤为重要。在城建档案对建设工程预警的可行性分析的基础上,提出了两点设想：确定预警工作责任主体和建立行之有效的预警工作机制;研发并应用建设工程寿命预警系统。同时提出了两点建议：构建内容丰富和结构均衡的建设工程档案资源体系;突出重点并持之以恒。
