本文从系统功能语言学的角度出发,将法律语篇视为社会语境下实现社会过程的语言类型,在附生观的指导下,通过语篇格律系统和识别系统两个语篇语义学维度,分析作为社会过程的法律语篇如何呈现其谋篇语义。分析发现,在谋篇层面,立法语篇追求形式化简约化,司法语篇尤其是交叉质询等口头语篇追求复杂化主观化的特点。这些特点与不同类型的法律语篇实现的不同类型社会过程目标紧密相关。

This paper takes legal discourse as a social process in social context and investigates its textual meanings under the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics. Based on the viewpoint of Supervenience, it examines the system of PERIODIC- ITY and the system of IDENTIFICATION of legal discourses, which aims to explain the realizing relations between legal dis- courses ( processes ) and their textual meanings. This paper concludes that as far as textual meanings are concerned, difterent genres of legal discourses deploy different organizations at both discourse and grammatical levels, which is closely related with different goals of various social processes.
