话题是被说明的对象，一般位于句首。汉语的句法结构中语序对句法成分的决定作用比较显著，通过话题化充当话题的成分的句法位置往往会发生变化。而维吾尔语的形态发达，其语序比较自由，通过话题化充当话题的成分往往以原有形式直接移到句首充当话题。
