问题金融机构国家救助法律边界的界定是设定问题金融机构启动国家救助及不同救助方式选择的基本条件，主要包括财务风险条件和系统重要性条件。负有求助责任的机构通过事项确定的、清晰的标准，对金融机构资本充足率、资产质量、盈利能力、流动性及市场风险敏感度等进行评估，并综合考虑金融机构的活跃程度、规模、关联性、可替代性和复杂性等指标，以确立其面临的风险状况及危机程度，据此而作出求助选择。国家救助边界界定应坚持成本最低、显性救助、择优选择和谨慎实施四项基本原则，在救助与破产之间寻求平衡，以保障金融体系的稳定和金融消费者权益。
