科技经济“两张皮”的根源在于，创新价值链中认知价值向经济价值转化的过程出现断裂，形成科技成果转化的“死亡谷”。传统科研组织在推动科学能力、技术能力、生产能力共同作用并最终形成创新能力的过程中出现了功能错位或不匹配。为了更好地促进科学与经济结合，新型科研机构顺势而生，并发挥了桥梁作用。从创新价值链视角出发，对“后学院科学”时代新型科研机构的功能、定位进行分析，并以华大基因为例总结其当代特征，为新时期我国进一步推进科技体制改革提供借鉴和启示。

The root of the problem of isolation between economy and science and technology is that some breakage happened during the process from cognitive value transferring to economic value, which form the ＂death valley＂. The dislocation of function happened when the traditional scientific organizations in the process of promoting the interaction between the sol- entitle ability, technical skills and production capacity and eventually form the innovation ability. In order to better pro- mote the combination of science and economy, a new type of research institutions emerged and played bridge role to make every link of the innovation value chain. This article analyzes its function and position in the times of post-academic science from the perspective of Innovation Value Chain, and summarizes its contemporary characteristics based on the case study of BGI, which provides an important enlightenment for the promotion of the further reform of science and technology sys- tem during the new period in China.
