明清时期,官箴书广泛传播,主要由于以下三方面原因：官箴书的实用性、可操作性显著增强,官僚行政系统对此存在强烈需求;政府重视官箴书的教化作用,利用官方力量推动官箴书的传播;书商等商业资本的介入扩大了官箴书的传播范围。明清官箴书在继承和发展以儒家为代表的行政伦理思想基础上,更加注重对于官员具体行政活动的指导,为传统行政伦理所宣扬的“修身齐家治国平天下”的政治理想提供了具体的、细化的践行规范,逐渐形成模式化的行政权力运作规程。

Handbooks on Official Conduct in Ming and Qing dynasties paid more attention to the specific administrative act, which formed the operation regulation for the administrative power.
