河湟民族走廊地处中国地理几何的中心,是我国北方蒙古高原游牧文化、青藏高原游牧文化圈和中原农耕文化的交集重叠地带。它丰富的多样性表现在生态、经济、民族、宗教、语言等方面,尤其多元民族与多元宗教文化共构了河湟民族走廊文化的表里结构,形成了“我中有你,你中有我”的嵌入式的区域文化特点,是我国文化多样性最为丰富、积淀最为深厚的一个独特的文化区,更是中华文化多元一体格局的缩影。

Hehuang Ethnic Corridor, which is located in geographical geometric center of China, is the intersection among nomadic culture of Mongolia Plateau, nomadic culture of Tibetan Plateau and agricultural culture of Loess Plateau.There are luxuriant diversities such as ecologies, eco- nomics, ethnicities,religions and languages. Especially, ethnicities and religions form outer and inter cultural structure of Hehuang Ethnic Corridor, which becomes multi-ethnic mixed and inter-inserted characters of region cultures. So culture of Hehuang Ethnic Corridor is the most abundant and profound cultural area, which is a epitome of the pattern of diversity in unity of the Chinese Culture.
