我国新刑事诉讼法确立了统一的简易程序，这对于促进案件繁简分流，提高诉讼效率，节约司法成本有重大意义。然而，简易程序在被告人自愿性保障、量刑优惠、程序的转化、公诉人出庭的规定等方面存在着一定的不足，应当进一步完善被告人自愿性的保障机制，明确选择简易程序的量刑标准，具体规定简易程序转为普通程序的情形，充分发挥庭前会议的作用，有效衔接简易案件的开庭审理。
我國新刑事訴訟法確立瞭統一的簡易程序，這對于促進案件繁簡分流，提高訴訟效率，節約司法成本有重大意義。然而，簡易程序在被告人自願性保障、量刑優惠、程序的轉化、公訴人齣庭的規定等方麵存在著一定的不足，應噹進一步完善被告人自願性的保障機製，明確選擇簡易程序的量刑標準，具體規定簡易程序轉為普通程序的情形，充分髮揮庭前會議的作用，有效銜接簡易案件的開庭審理。

The establishment of the uniform summary procedures by the Criminal Procedure Law of PRC has great significance for separating simple cases from complicated ones, improving lawsuit efficiency, and saving judicial costs. Nevertheless, such uniform summary procedures are somehow insufficient in some aspects such as the guarantee of the free will of the defendant, preferential sentence, procedure shift, appearance of the public prosecutor, and other provisions. Therefore, the system on the guarantee of the free will of the defendant shall be further improved, the sentence standards on choosing the summary procedures shall be specified, and the circumstances where criminal procedures are mutable to ordi-nary procedures, the role of the pretrial conference shall be brought into full play so that simple cases can efficiently move to the hearing stage.
