运用空间计量方法对长江经济带经济实力的时空差异进行测度和分析发现：长江经济带经济实力的总体差异随时间不断缩小，各年份绝对差异逐渐变大；空间集聚特征明显，两极化趋势不断加大，且有重心东移趋势。武汉及重庆优势明显，但表现出明显的区域发展不均衡。从时空集聚趋势和机理来看．随着时间的演进，空间碎片化还将存在，多中心的发展趋势会更加明显，逐步从核心边缘模式演变为多中心发展模式．进而形成带状网络空间结构。

Using the spatial econometric approaches to measure and analyze the economic strength＇s space-time difference of the Yangtze River Economic Belt （YREB） showed the overall difference of YREB in the city level in economic strength is shrinking, but the absolute discrepancy of each year respectively is gradually increasing; YREB also has a significant characteristic of spatial concentration and a polarization trend. YREB＇s center of economic gravity is shifting east. Wuhan and Chongqing located in the Midwestern YREB have obvious advantages in economic strength, but whole YREB showed significant unbalanced development in city level. From the space-time concentrate tendency and mechanism of view, space fragmentation will also exist over time. Meanwhile YREB is becoming polycentric huge region in China, and transforms from the core-edge mode to polycentric development pattern, and then is forming a banded network spatial structure.
