利用山西及周边省份1998—2012年的面板数据,结合超效率DEA和DEA—Malmquist生产率指数法,测算各省的综合效率和Malmquist指数及其分解项,分析山西技术创新效率变化的内在动力。结果显示：中部及周边各省技术创新效率总体水平不高;山西与周边省份相比还存在一定的差距。具体而言,技术效率成为促进山西技术创新效率增长的主要动力,而技术进步指数的下降则制约了山西技术创新效率的发展。

According to the panel data （1998--2012） of Shanxi and surrounding provinces and based on the super efficiency DEA and DEA -- Malmqulst index method, this paper figures out the overall efficiency of the provinces and Malmquist index, analysis of the inherent motive force of Shanxi＇s change of the technological innovation efficiency. The results shows that：Overall technology innovation efficiency of central and peripheral provinces is in low level. In terms of Shanxi,there was a big gap between Shanxi and surrounding provinces; Technical efficiency growth played a main role in promoting technological innovation efficiency growth of Shanxi,while the decline of technological progress index is restricting the devel opment of Shanxi＇s technology innovation efficiency.
