宋代出现了“诗文评”新的形式,即诗话、词话、文话(四六话),可以说,宋代是诗话的时代,它们遍地丛生,令人有不可胜数之慨,那时,凡是有头有脸的诗人、词人、文人,几乎都在写诗话、词话,这成为他们的文化活动内容和重要生活方式之一。欧阳修《六一诗话》为“诗话”形式的写作树立了一种典型样态和“闲谈”式的范例,而从美学思想的高度和深度讲,成就最高者,当属张戒的《岁寒堂诗话》和严羽的《沧浪诗话》,它们是宋代诗话所能达到的两个高峰,而两者之中,沧浪成就更高,对后世影响更大,不但宋代几乎无人能与其比肩,即使后来元明清各代,尽管诗话无数,超越者也不是很多。

The new forms of poetry and prose critical have come into being in the Song Dynasty, including poetry critical, Ci critical, and literary critical. To some extent, the Song Dynasty is the age of poetry critical with numerous works. At that time, almost anyone who has a certain prestige in poetry, Ci, or literature puts their focus on writing critical, which becomes one of their literary activities and social lives. Among them, Ou-yang Xiu ' s Liuyi Poetry Critical provides the prototype and formula for the creation of poetry critical. From the perspective of aesthetic width and height, Zhang Jie and Yah Yu are the best in the creation of poetry critical, whose work becomes the peak of critical poetry that cannot be surpassed, especially the latter, which has imposed great influence on the following creation.
