大学转型是社会经济发展“新常态”背景下的历史选择和客观要求。但是,大学转型需要理性和自觉。转型的理性,首先需要转型理念的理性、转型精神的理性,进而达到转型决策的理性和实践操作的理性。大学理性促使着大学转型从理念的理性向实践操作理性的转型过渡。大学转型还依赖自身的精神自觉,并从精神自觉到行为自觉。精神自觉是大学转型的发展之根,它源于大学理性精神的形成:行为自觉是大学转型之干,其关键要素是制度自觉。大学的理性转型,客观上要求大学的转型行为应由市场决定,核心要素是行政权向学术权的转型。从本体论意义上看,大学转型是高等教育综合改革的航标和大学结构性发展的一种文化形态。

University transformation is the historical choice and the objective requirement in the background of the "new normal" in social economic development. However, university transformation needs ration and consciousness. The ration of transformation firstly requires the ration of transformation idea and spirit, and further comes to the ration of transformation policy decision and practice operation. University ration boosts the transition of university transformation from its ration of idea into its ration of practice operation. Moreover, university transformation relies on the spirit consciousness of its own, and it realizes the transition from spirit consciousness to behavior consciousness. Spirit consciousness, which originates in the formation of university rational spirit, is the root of the development of university transformation. Behavior consciousness is the backbone of university transformation, whose key point lies in the system consciousness. Rational transformation of university objectively requires that the behavior of college transformation is to be determined by market, and its core element is the realization of administrative authority to academic authority. In the perspective of ontology, university transformation is the navigation mark of the comprehensive reform of high education. It is also a kind of cultural formation of university development.
