职业教育的尊严指职业教育社会地位的实现及其身份角色认同。当前职业教育尊严缺失主要表现在吸引力不足、社会认可度不高及薪资待遇低等。究其原因,主要是“学而优则仕”的传统价值取向影响、长期历史发展积累薄弱以及当前职业教育功能定位及其实现不尽如意、职业教育体系尚未形成等。职业教育尊严主要来源于自身竞争力的强大与社会主流价值的认同。由此,不仅需要社会文化建设进行正确价值导向、国家政策系统支持及相应制度安排,同时,还需要职业教育在保障办学自主权的基础上,积极深化改革加强内涵建设,不断提升自身吸引力、竞争力、影响力,最终实现职业教育尊严存在。

The dignity of vocational education refers to the fact that social status and the role of vocational education "being noble, dignified, sacred" is adequately identified and realized. Less attraction, lower social recognition and poor pay lead to the current situation of vocational education which is lack of dignity. Several reasons are discussed: traditional assumption "scholars have access to official career" dominates the trend of values; vocational education has not been highly developed; the vocational education functions have not been satisfactorily identified and realized currently; the vocational education system has not been formed yet etc. Dignity of vocational education mainly comes from its own accelerating competitiveness and the increasing acceptance of social mainstream values. Therefore, it not only needs the correct value orientation in the social and cultural construction, national policy supporting system and the corresponding system arrangement, but also needs its own connotation construction on the base of running a vocational education school autonomously and deepening the reform in order to strengthen and constantly improve their own attractiveness, competitiveness and influence. Only in this way, the existence of vocational education dignity can be realized.
