文章以四川省统计年鉴数据（2000-2012）为依据，在生态足迹理论的基础上，构建生态可持续发展能力评价模型，对四川省2000-2011年的可持续发展水平进行了评价。结果表明：四川省2000-2011年生态赤字逐年扩大，从0．64280hm^2增加到1．54883hm^2，区域生态环境呈相对不可持续发展状态。四川省万元GDP生态足迹总体呈现下降趋势，生态足迹多样性指数总体呈先稳定增长到趋于稳定的态势，生态可持续发展能力值总体呈上升态势，仅在2002-2003年出现了略微下降。进行产业结构调整，提高资源利用效率，实现节能减排是增强四川生态可持续发展能力的必经之路。

Based on the data during 2001 and 2012 statistical yearbook of Sichuan Province, this paper analyzes the changes of ecological footprint per capita and ecological capacity per capita in the Sichuan province during 2000 and 2011 by using the ecological footprint theory and calculation method as well as the ecological capacity analysis method. The results indicate that, in 2000 to 2011, ecological deficit increased from 0.64280 hm2 per capita to 1.54883 hm^2 per capita, which showed the development of Sichuan Province was in an unsustainable status. In the same period, the ecological deficit per 10000 RMB GDP decreased generally ;the index of ecological footprint diversity had steady increased firstly and then been in a stable state; the index of development capacity increased total, but had slight declined during 2002 to 2003.In summary, we must adjust the industrial structure, improve the efficiency of resource use, save energy and reduce emissions .Only in this way, can we hope to witness the ideal of scene in which Sichuan Province can achieve ecologically sustainable development.
