模范公民需要积极践行社会主义核心价值观,体现公民的公共理性精神。为提升大学生思想政治教育的实效性,培育和践行社会主义核心价值观,亟须加强对大学生公共理性精神的培育。公民的公共理性精神是践行社会主义核心价值观的体现,是塑造良好社会心态的桥梁,是培养社会主义模范公民的基础。由此,大学生公共理性精神的培育内容应该包括体现正义感和公共伦理的公共精神、强调“向善、价值理念的道德素质、呈现理性思考与判断这一可贵品格的理智能力和倡导知行合一的实践能力。因此,要从创新理论解读机制、创新价值内化机制、创新实践强化机制三个路径入手开展大学生公共理性精神的培育。

The model citizens need to actively practice the socialist core values to embody the public rational spirit of citizens. In order to improve the actual effect of ideological and political education as well as cultivate and practice socialist core values for college students, it' s the urgent need to strengthen the cultivation of public rational spirit for college students. We believe that the public rational spirit of citizens is embodied in the practice of socialist core values, is the bridge to shape a good social mentality and the basis of cultivating citizen socialist model. Therefore, the contents of cultivating public rational spirit for college students should include the public spirit embodying the justice and public ethics, the moral quality emphasizing the idea of “for good” , the intellectual ability presenting the rational thinking and the practice ability proposing the unity of knowledge and practice. We will cultivate public rational spirit for college students from three paths, which are the innovation of mechanisms for theoretical interpretation, internalization of value and strengthening of practice.
