我国集中连片特困地区之一的武陵山片区,其教育在新时期呈现出新的特点,主要表现为儿童失学原因出现多元化、满足劳动力市场需求的职业教育供应不足以及教师队伍不稳定、人员流动频繁。随着经济的发展,教育对反贫困具有越来越重大的意义,因而,应根据武陵山区的实际,提出新时期缓解教育贫困的对策和建议。

In the new time, Wuling mountain area, one of the concentrated destitute areas in China, has displayed new characteristics in education. They are 1 ) various reasons for dropouts ; 2) lack of vocational education to meet the demand of the labor market ; and 3) instability and high liquidity of the teaching body. With the development of economy, education has become more and more important in antipoverty. Therefore, the paper puts forward countermeasures and proposals to alleviate education poverty based on realities in Wuling mountain area in the new time.
