中国古代君主专制制度发展到隋唐时期,开始步入一个空前完善的历史时期。尤其在制度与文化方面呈现出一派盛唐气象。这个时期的君主政治表现出许多为后代所仰慕、具有典范意义的君臣模式与制度文明,不仅对中国历史也对东亚历史乃至世界历史产生了重要深远的影响。唐代之所以能够获得这样的历史地位,是与唐初以来的政治生态环境及其完善的制度结构与功能密不可分的。

The absolute monarchy in ancient China began to evolve perfectly in Sui and Tang Dynasties es- pecially in the system and culture. The pattern of relationship between monarch and his subjects and the sys- tem civilization became the model of the later generations, which has significant influences on not only Chi- nese history but also Eastern Asian history and even world history. The high development of monarchy in Tang Dynasty is closely related to its political ecological environment since its early period and impeccable institutional structure and function.
