文化地理学更多地是一门后现代学科，聚焦与地理环境有关的人文活动，研究人们如何阐释和利用地理空间、地点以及这些空间和地点怎样产生和保留文化。它涉及领土、景观、旅游及市场、商店、商品、音乐、电影、电脑、文学阅读等日常生活层面，权力、表征、全球化伴随其中。对其进行系统梳理与讨论能将日常生活中的城市建设、移民安置、市场建设、工作调动、媒体管理等问题的解决提升至学理层面，有益于爱国主义、人文主义的弘扬、和谐社会的建构及“中国梦”的实现。

Cultural geography is mostly a postmodernist subject. It fucuses on humannistic activities about geog- raphy, and observes how people interpret and utilize spaces and places as well as how the spaces and places produce and retain cultures, These questions involve such fields as territoriality, landscape, tourism and market, shopping,commodity, music, movies, computer and literature reading in daily life. Power, representation and globalization all pervade them. Overall, making a systematic reorganization and discussion of cultural studies would elevate the territoriality, the urban construction, the relocation of immigrants, the market construction,the job transfer and the media-management to an academic level. Moreover, this academic exploration may be of much significance to the enhancement of patriotism and humanism as well as the construction of the harmonious society and the realization of ＂Chinese Dream＂.
