孝德有多方面的文化内涵，有促进家庭和睦、维护社会稳定的价值。孝德文化为构建社会主义核心价值观提供了文化基础，是培育大学生核心价值观的文化源泉，具体表现在爱国观、敬业观、诚信观、友善观的培育上。高校可以通过多种途径运用孝德教育培育大学生核心价值观。

Filial piety has a variety of cultural connotation and the value of promoting family harmony and maintaining social stability. Filial piety culture provides cultural basis for the construction of so- cialist core values and proves to be the cultural source of cultivating college students＇ socialist core values, which is reflected in the cultivation of patriotic, dedicated, sincere and friendly concepts. It is suggested that colleges and universities employ filial piety education to cultivate college students＇ core values through a variety of ways.
