保持党的纯洁性既是建党初期和大革命时期中国共产党自身建设的本质要求,也是党生存与发展的必然选择,同时更是党把中国革命推向前进的重要保证。党创建初期虽然没有明确提出纯洁性的概念,但自成立之日起党就高度重视纯洁性建设,进行了理论与实践上的积极探索,既有丰富历史经验也有值得汲取的深刻教训。这对当今时代正面对＂四种考验＂和＂四种危险＂挑战的中国共产党保持纯洁性具有重要现实启示。

Maintaining the Party＇s purity is an essential requirement of the Party＇s construction in the initial period and in the Great Revolution,and is an inevitable choice of the survival and the development,and is also an important guarantee for the Party to lead the Chinese revolution forward.Without clearly giving the concept of the purity in the initial period,the Party did pay much attention to the purity building,and conducting positive exploration in the theory and in the practice so that the Party has had great historical experiences and also drawn deep lessons from them,which has an important realistic enlightenment to the present situation of keeping the Party＇s purity aroused by ＂four tests＂and ＂four dangers＂.
