文章将网络分析方法引入到了汉语的历时演化研究当中。采用4个不同时期的汉语真实文本构建了上古汉语、中古汉语,近代汉语和现代汉语的汉字同现网络,并对这些网络的整体特征以及“在”和“人”两个单字词在不同时期语言网络中的特征变化进行了对比分析,描述了语言网络宏观整体以及微观语言现象的历时演化趋势。研究结果显示,利用新兴的网络分析方法和工具,可以更容易、直观地观察到汉语整体系统和个别语言现象的历时演变趋势,同时为这些演变趋势提供量化数据的支持。文章展示了如何利用网络分析方法获取传统研究方法难以测量的演化区别特征,并首次实现了对语言系统和个别语言现象的共演分析,显示了网络分析方法在语言演化研究中的巨大潜力。

This paper aims at integrating the network analysis method into the evolution study of Chinese. We built four co -occurrence Chinese characters networks based on real texts form four different historical periods:ancient Chinese, middle ancient times Chinese, modem times Chinese and modem Chinese. After four different networks were built, we analyzed and compared the diachronic changings of structural features of these networks and two characters, ";05 zai" and "),. ren", described the ev process analysis of detailed language changings and the whole olution processes of these two characters and the co -evolution language system. The results showed that the usage of network methods and tools can provide an easier and intuitive way to observe the overall language system and de- tailed language phenomenon in an evolution process, as well as quantitative data to support the evolution study. The study showed how to use network analysis method to get the distinguishing features of the evolution processes which are quite difficult to measure by traditional methods. This research achieved the co - evolution analysis of language system and detailed linguistics phenomena at the first time, and it showed the great potential of network analysis method for the study of language evolution.
