In a bathroom product enterprise, low quality rate, high scrap cost and other quality problems often appear. In order to solve the problems, first quality management tools are used to statistic the factors affecting the product quality, then a measurement system analysis is conducted, with fishbone diagram method used to find key factors. With a factor analysis and hypothesis testing, a quality control and improvement scheme is designed. Finally, the improvement scheme is implemented. Result shows that scrap number decreases by 50% , saving about 200,000 Yuan RMB for the company, which indicates that the methods selected are reasonable and can provide guidance for practical application.
