There are numerous ethnic groups and complex religions in the Pan - Beibu Gulf region. Based on literature and survey data, this paper discusses types, manifestation, causes and effects of the eth- nic problems in this region, and puts forwards corresponding countermeasures that can be served as a refer- ence for decision - making in regional economic cooperation and the economic construction along the belt of maritime silk road.
